July is just around the corner and it’s almost time for our next Servolution programme, where we reach out into our community with the love of Jesus. We do this each year around the Mandela week and this year we will be going out to bless people on Saturday the 16th  of July. If you would like to be a part of the New Life Servolution initiative, you can choose one or more of these four different ways to participate:
Bring items to church for mothers for their newborns. Many mothers don’t have anything for their newborn babies. There will be a collection box situated in the foyer for these baby items.
See the list on the Baby Box website to get an idea of what to donate.
Join us as we minister to and bless the elderly with tea and cake. Come with a heart to love the residents, no need to bring anything with you but the love of Jesus.
Neighbourhood Clean-up
Guys, bring your tools, weed eaters, saws, hedge cutters, secateurs and gloves to clear around Douglas Road to Galloway Road for the safety of pedestrians and to tidy up the area.
Choose a way you would like to randomly bless those around you. You can choose to do something with your friends or family, or on your own, as led by the Lord. Here are some RAK ideas you could do:
  • Send flowers to a friend with a loving note
  • Pay for someone’s groceries in the supermarket
  • Offer to help at an animal shelter
  • Get some friends to help clean up your school
  • Send a note of appreciation to someone you know
  • Run an errand for someone you know
  • Visit an aged family member
  • Offer to do chores without being asked
  • Donate to a charity of your choice
  • Bake cookies for the office
Servolution T-Shirts will be available to purchase for R130 from the Welcome Centre in the foyer on Sundays.
You can also place your order at
Whatever you choose to do, New Life Servolution is a great opportunity for us as a church to impact our community and the people around us with the heart of Christ.

Acts 20:35 states that, “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive” and we know that there is joy in the act of giving.

Thank you so much Newlifers for your amazing generosity and we look forward to putting smiles on many faces as we impact our world for Christ.
