It’s almost time for our next Servolution program, where we reach out into our community with the love of Jesus.
Once again we will be heading out into our city to bless people on Saturday, 2nd November.

If you would like to be a part of this Servolution initiative, you can choose one or more of these different ways to participate:
1) St Mary’s Orphanage & Children’s Home, Rosettenville
At St Mary’s, many of the children come from families in crisis. Their
life stories are filled with tragedy and abuse – and they don’t have a
place to call home. We will spend the morning connecting with the
children, playing some games, doing activities with them and sharing God’s love with them through our care.

2) Litter clean up in Douglasdale, Bryanston
We are going to beautify our serve our local community by picking up litter in our suburb. We’ll start at the church gate and make our way down up and down the streets of our neighbourhood. We will be the practical hands of Jesus to our community.

3) Summer Field Retirement Village, Douglasdale
Join us we visit Summerfield Retirement Village where we will spread love and joy to the senior citizens residing there. We will be spending our time ministering and playing Bingo with these wonderful individuals. Come and be part of this heartwarming experience as we share God's love with the elderly.

4) Randburg Clinic, Randburg
The queues at Outpatients can sometimes be long and the wait to see the doctors can be tiresome. To show the love of Jesus and brighten up the day of those people waiting, we will serve sandwiches and juices to the people waiting in the queues whilst ministering to them and praying for them.

We will be collecting basic toiletries for the school going orphan children in Alexandra. Suggested donations: Face cloths, soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, body cream, Vaseline, sanitary pads. Any items can be dropped off at the donation box in the foyer on Sunday

6. Random Acts of Kindness
You can choose whatever you feel the Lord is putting on your heart to do to bless others, in and around the Servolution date. To put RAK into action, you can team up with friends or choose an initiative as a family or decide to randomly bless someone as you are led.

Servolution T-Shirts are available in the foyer on Sundays for R150.
Whatever you choose to do, let’s impact our community in a spirit of generosity. We will bless the people around us as we serve them with the heart of Christ through these New Life Church Servolution initiatives.
