We are so excited to be hosting our next Servolution day, where we reach out into our community with the love of Jesus. Once again we will be heading out into our city to bless people on Saturday the 18th of April. If you would like to be a part of this Servolution initiative, you can choose one or more of these different ways to participate:
1) Painting at Cosmo Secondary School, Cosmo City
This is a large government high school where several classrooms are in great need of repainting. As we attend to the needs of the school, we will be blessing the local community, the staff and the learners. In this way we will demonstrate the love of Christ in action.

2) Summerfield Retirement Village, Jukskei Park
Join us we visit Summerfield Retirement Village where we will spread love and joy to the senior citizens residing there. We will be spending our time ministering and playing Bingo with these wonderful individuals. Come and be part of this heart-warming experience as we share God's love with the elderly.

3) Outreach to the Wynberg Scrapyard, Wynberg
Our nation has many ‘trolley-preneurs’ living off the recycled waste that gets discard each day. Join us as we take food and hope to those at the Wynberg scrapyard as we meet some of their practical needs. We will also have an opportunity to minister and pray for them.

4) St. Mary’s Orphanage & Children’s Home, Rosettenville
At St Mary’s, many of the children come from families in crisis. Their life stories are filled with tragedy and abuse - and they don’t have a place to call home. We will spend the morning playing games and connecting with the children, as we share God’s love with them through our care.

5) Donations towards safety packs for the ‘trolley-preneurs’
In support of our outreach to the Wynberg scrapyard outreach we will be collecting funds to make up safety packs consisting of a reflective vest, winter beanie and some basic food items. Any items can be dropped off at the donation box in the foyer on Sunday or a donation of R150 will provide one pack for a ‘trolley-preneur’.

6) Random Act of Kindness (RAK)
You can choose whatever you feel the Lord is putting on your heart to do to bless others, in and around the Servolution date. To put RAK into action, you can team up with friends or choose an initiative as a family or decide to randomly bless someone as you are led.

Whatever you choose to do, let’s impact our community in a spirit of generosity. We will bless the people around us as we serve them with the heart of Christ through these New Life Church Servolution initiatives.
