"Fill-A-Box" Servolution

At New Life Church we are passionate about continually fulfilling our vision statement of “Inspiring everyone to love God, love others as ourselves and impact the world for Christ.”
At times like these we can seize the opportunity to be generous, as we know we are blessed to be a blessing. Many of us are facing financial challenges at the moment so we would love to unlock our personal pantries and our hearts, and prepare New Life "Fill-A-Box" for our Servolution outreach.

This New Life Church Servolution initiative is seen as a “collect at home now and drop off at Church after lockdown regulations allow for us to do it” project!

Acts 20:35 states that “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
This will be a Servolution drive where boxes will be filled with whatever you can spare:
- New or nearly new clothing (please make sure it is clean and in good condition).
- New or nearly new toys (also clean and in good condition).
- Toiletries: e.g. toothpaste, soap, washing powder, body lotion, shampoo, deodorant, ladies sanitary towels.
- Dry groceries: e.g. mielie meal, rice, spagetti, soup packets.
- Tins: e.g. bully beef, meatballs, tinned fish, tinned fruit, chakalaka.
- Milk powder, tinned milk, long life milk, tea, coffee and sugar.
- Concentrated juices.
Once your box is full, it can be dropped off at New Life Church, after lockdown regulations allow for this kind of trip and we will then distribute to families in need of help over the next weeks and months. It doesn’t matter how big or small your contribution is, every little gift counts.
